Take what you have earned and repeat the cycle. Once the Crops have been harvested, sell them to a farmer NPC to get ammo and or weapons and or food. Gather and farm crops (crops are used as currency), Don't die to the bots whom continuously raid your base for the crops. The general gameplay of survival goes like this: There are no Story elements yet, Just a logbook, that's it.

Player needs to be fed and hydrated, else they die. To Add to that, the survival mode makes crafting a very tedious task, and nor do they entertain you with any ounce of a story. There is nothing nice and fancy about the survival mode and To be honest the Developers enjoy Teasing the players with their Devblog's showcasing all the new features that they're working on, but unfortunately they have only made two updates to their survival mode in the last almost 3 and a half years. The survival mode is basically the same as Creative, but the world looks better, and you have to keep yourself fed and hydrated as well as grind for any form of resources, That's it. When you watch the trailer everything looks fun, but i promise you it wears off quite quickly, especially if you are not new to this game. I know some people will feel differently than me on this, but Scrap Mechanic has been out for a long time, and the game has always revolved around having fun with your friends and being creative, Then one of the most anticipated features finally came to the game in the first half of 2020 and that was the Survival mode which a lot of people including myself were looking forward to.

Scrap Mechanic Is an exceptional game about crafting, being creative and having fun with Friends, but there is unfortunately two sides to it which is not often spoken about.
